I really like these texts.
In my opinion, it was a good idea to mention two of the most important topics from the book "The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas". You did a great job. The reader gets lots of information, which are helpful if you want to get some information before you want to read the novel. I also can agree with Salih and Leander, that "Friendship" and "Comparisons" are the most important topics in the book.
